Children

While we love children, Karma Salon & Spa is an adult-orientated facility. In an effort to maintain a relaxing atmosphere, infants and children under 13 years of age are not allowed in the salon except during the duration of the child’s service. Children also cannot wait in the salon while a parent or sibling is receiving a service. This policy enables all salon guests to fully relax and enjoy their stay with us. Please make child care arrangements prior to your scheduled appointment. Management and your fellow patrons ask that you please respect this policy as no exceptions can be made. Thank you for your cooperation.

Scheduling

• Feel free to call us or stop by to schedule your appointment. One of our front desk coordinators will be happy to assist you. If you call during non-business hours, leave a message with your appointment request and daytime and evening phone numbers. We will call you back as soon as possible.
• Since our technicians often book up weeks in advance, we always recommend that you schedule your next appointment prior to leaving. This ensures that you have an appointment that works best with your schedule. Standing appointments are also available and encouraged to ensure that your preferred day and time will always be reserved for you.
• We make appointment reminder calls 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Please be sure to keep us up-to-date with all of your contact information. While we make every attempt to reach you by phone, if for any reason we are unsuccessful in contacting you personally, please fell free to call us to confirm your appointment.
• While we do our best to run on time, situations may occur from time to time that put us behind schedule. We will do our best to keep you from waiting. 

Late Arrivals

If you foresee that you may be late for your scheduled appointment, please call us. While your technician will make every effort to accommodate you, please be advised that we may be unable to extend a late arrival’s scheduled service so as to not inconvenience our other patrons. Therefore, part or all of your scheduled service may have to be scheduled with another technician, shortened or rescheduled.

Gift Certificates

• Gift certificates are available for any dollar amount, service or package. They may be purchased in person or by telephone. Gift certificates may be mailed to any address specified by the purchaser.
• Gift certificate purchases via telephone require a faxed credit card authorization form to be completed.
• Gift certificates expire one year from the date of purchase and are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash. Expiration dates cannot be extended.
• Gift certificates do not include gratuity and cannot be combined with any other special offer.
• If you are using a gift certificate as your form of payment, please present it to the receptionist upon check-out.

Karma Salon accepts cash, check, Visa or Mastercard.

Gratuities

While gratuities are by no means expected from our gusts, many do opt to leave a little something extra for our service providers. Typically this ranges between 10 and 20 percent of the guest's total services. We are happy to provide you with tip envelopes at the front desk should you wish to leave a gratuity in the form of check or cash. Unfortunately we cannot process any gratuities on credit cards. Personal checks may be used but must be made out seperately to your service provider.

Cancellation policy

We realize that with life's ever changing needs, situations may prevent you from keeping your reservation with us. We ask that you please give us at least 24 hours notice when cancelling so that we may fill your reservation with another guest who may be pending for that position in our schedule.

Protecting your valuables

For all guests receiving color services, we request that you change out of any personal garments and into one of our comfortable robes for the duration of your visit. This ensures that all the color we use stays in its intended place--your hair. Please also be mindful of your handbag and make sure it is safely out or harm's way. We cannot be responsible for any items lost or damaged during your visit with us if this policy is not observed.

At Karma Salon & Spa we are uniquely structured to offer various price points to provide the highest quality service to people with varying beauty budgets. Please feel free to inquire further about the level system and its associated price points.

Moving on up

As our stylists progress in their careers and achieve benchmark goals, they are promoted. At this time prices are raised a nominal amount in celebration of their achievements as professionals in our industry. Signage is always posted at the stylist's station so that you will know when such achievement can be recognized and celebrated.

Our best advertisement

We know thatr our best source of marketing is the beautiful looks we provide to our guests. As such, we are happy to accommodate any new guests referred by you and will reward you in the process. Ask your service provider about the specific referral reward they offer. Please ask all new guests to reference your name at the time of booking their reservation.
