Julie E. Manos-Robinson, Owner and Master Designer

Salon owner and a Lawrenceville, GA native; I have always loved making people happy. While attending the University of Georgia for early childhood education, I worked in Athens under Lynn Meyer at the Ritz Salon, where I developed a passion for hair design. I attended the Beauty College of GA in Atlanta and received my degree as a master cosmetologist. I have continued my education by becoming certified with Great Lengths, So Cap, Schwarzkopf Hair Color and a masters in pivot point cutting. I just recently became certified as a Redken Color Specialist. I have been in the industry practicing hair for over 17 years now. Hair is my passion and as owner of Karma Salon & Spa it is my goal every day to provide the latest fashions and trends with the best customer service to each and every Karma Klient.

Courtnee G. Apel, Master Stylist Level II

I've always had a passion for the hair industry. I am 28 years old and have been a hairstylist for ten years now and love to make my clients smile. I graduated from Gwinnett Technical College in 2001 and have continued my education with technical and advanced courses every year. I am a master stylist with expertise in Bridal up-dos and haircutting.

Christina Martinez, Master Stylist Level I

I have 12 years of experience working with Paul Mitchell Color Correction and Color Techniques and Toni and Guy European Men's Cut and Color. My specialties are: Ombre, color correction, bridal and prom up-do's, men's color, curly hair and avant-garde. I was also featured in Pin-up on Two Wheels, Estela Magazine Couture Editorial and Drop Jaw Magazine.

Kari Ann Hoch, Senior Stylist

I'm a hairstylist who is so passionate about anything and everything in the field of Cosmetology. I graduated from The Process Institute of Cosmetology in 2008 and have continued my education by taking classes on the latest trends in hair design. I love what I do. Being a hairstylist is in my genes, literally. My aunt has been a very successful hairstylist and I learned a lot from her over the years.

Lauren K. Whitt, Senior Stylist

I have always loved anything and everything in the cosmetology field. But I knew I wanted to go to the University of Georgia one day, and I am so glad I decided to go because being there I discovered my love for helping others and a passion for organization. By being the Salon Coordinator here at Karma Salon & Spa I have had the opportunity to mesh these two passions. I get to be around skilled cosmetologists all day, see clients walk out looking great, and help clients stay satisfied. This is definitely the perfect career for me!

I decided to be an apprentice because styling hair and make-up is something I've always loved to do! Working hands-on in the salon is so much fun and so rewarding at the same time. I think this journey is going to take me far and I look forward to my future in the hair industry!

I am a very friendly person and I love to help people. Working front desk at Karma Salon & Spa helps me interact with different people on a daily basis and I love it. It make's me feel good to know that people can call to the salon and ask questions and I can help them out with my knowledge of hair.

I am an extremely outgoing and friendly person, and I feel that Karma allows me to express that. I love seeing the new styles and makeovers that leave here and hope one day to be able to create those looks myself. Though I have no experience, I look forward to learning the ins and outs of the business and hope to get my cosmetology license soon.
