Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy Do's and Don'ts

Do Not:

• Wet or wash your hair for 72 hours (three days) following treatment.
• Tie your hair into a pony tail. You must wear your hair down at all times.
• Wear hair clips, bands and bobby-pins.
• Place your hair behind your ears.
• Place your glasses or sunglasses on your hair or use them to hold your hair back.

Do:

• Blow dry and flat iron your hair as soon as possible if you sweat or your hair gets wet within the first 72 hours of treatment. Following the three day waiting time, you may style your hair with a flat iron or blow dryer.
• Protect your hair when showering by pulling it back in a silk scarf. Also use a silk scarf to pull your hair away from your face at other times.
• Wash your hair after 72 hours using the Keratin Complex shampoo and conditioner. Thereafter, continue to use daily.
• Apply a leave-in conditioner to your hair prior to swimming, after the three day waiting period. If you don't have a leave-in conditioner, dampen your hair with fresh water. After swimming, rinse your hair with fresh water as soon as possible.

Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy can be done as often as every 4-6 weeks. Depending on your hair type, results typically last three to five months. Treatment times vary depending on your hair type and texture, as well as length.
